Let’s be honest: Half the reason we wear an Apple Watch is for the aesthetic. The other half? The apps.
We’re talking about the tiny little icons that run our lives, hold us accountable, make us move, breathe, sleep, hydrate, and occasionally remind us that we are, in fact, a mess. But like, a productive, slightly more organised mess. With a really cute watch band.
So, in no particular order, here are the Apple Watch apps we are currently obsessed with (and by “obsessed”, we mean actually use more than once before forgetting they exist):
Pillow - Sleep? Never heard of her.
Until we met Pillow. It tracks our sleep cycles, gently nudges us when we’ve had a shocker, and makes us feel like maybe… just maybe… we should stop doomscrolling at 1:47am.
Features:
-
Tracks sleep stages (light, deep, REM)
-
Records snoring/breathing
-
Smart alarm that wakes you up gently
Mindfulness – Deep breath in… sigh dramatically out.
This one is for the girlies who want to feel like they’ve got their life together, even if it’s only for 60 seconds. Open the app. Breathe. Pretend you're not spiralling. Repeat.
Features:
-
Simple daily breathing and reflection sessions
-
Tracks how long you spend being ‘mindful’
-
Sends you “breathe” reminders when you most need them
Strava – Hot girl walks, but make it data
Not just for marathon runners or people who say things like “just a light 10K.” We use Strava to log our walks, peep our stats, and (most importantly) humble brag.
Features:
-
Tracks walks, runs, cycles and more
-
Shows distance, pace, routes, and even elevation (if you’re fancy)
-
Social feed so you can give your friend a kudos
Waterllama – The cutest way to stay hydrated
This app is adorable, slightly bossy, and everything we need in a hydration coach. It gently reminds us to drink more water (and not just iced lattes), with a cartoon llama cheering us on. We love her. We fear her.
Features:
-
Custom daily water goals based on weight, activity & weather
-
Tracks all drinks, even coffee (yes, really)
-
Cute animal-themed reminders to keep you sipping (it’s weirdly effective)
Streaks – For when you want to be That Girl
A habit-tracker that actually makes us want to stick to habits. Whether it’s doing our skincare, drinking enough water, or flossing (we’re working on it), Streaks makes it weirdly satisfying.
Features:
-
Tracks up to 24 habits
-
Visual streaks that make you not want to break the chain
-
Syncs with Apple Health for health-based habits
Bonus Round: They all look cuter with a good band
We're just saying. A sleep-tracking, hot girl-walking, llama-led hydration journey feels extra powerful when it's paired with a very cute watch band. Lucky for you... we know just where to find one.
Let us know your favourite Apple Watch apps, and we might just feature yours. (Unless it’s super chaotic. Actually, especially if it’s super chaotic)
